Idea Web has 5 areas of the person’s life labeled, different colors are used to distinguish areas, making the web extremely easy to understand.

Idea web has 4 or 5 areas of the person’s life labeled, the reader is able to understand the web.

Idea web has 3 or less areas of the person’s life labeled, the web is difficult to follow.

Idea web is nonexistent or extremely difficult to follow

Biographical Information

The student has at least 10 facts about the person on the idea web in attached to an accurate topic bubble.

The student has between 8-9 facts about the person on the idea web, attached to an accurate topic bubble.

The student has between 5-7 facts about the person on the idea web. AND/OR The ideas are not attached to an accurate topic bubble.

The student has 4 or less facts about the person on the idea web and the ideas are not attached to an accurate topic bubble.

All topic bubbles are labeled correctly. All of the following:

 -The idea web is saved to the student’s H: drive. 

-The student has asked permission to print.

Content

Each slide of the presentation corresponds to a topic bubble from the idea web.  The information is presented in organized sentences.  There are no spelling or grammatical errors.

Most of the slides in the presentation correspond to a topic bubble from the idea web, and/or the information is presented with sentence fragments and/or there are 1-3 spelling or grammatical errors.

The slides do not correspond to the topic bubbles and/or the information is difficult to understand and/or there are more than 4 spelling or grammatical errors.

The project is incomplete.

Graphics and Animation

The presentation contains at least 3 graphics, which are placed neatly in the presentation.  The student used slide transitions and custom animation on graphics and/or text.

The presentation contains 1 or 2 graphics.  The student used one, but not both of the following: *slide transitions, *custom animation on graphics and/or text

The presentation contains no graphics and/or graphics that do not relate to the subject matter.  No slide transitions or custom animation were used.
