Safety Concerns….
In recent weeks there has been an increase in the number of lacrosse sticks coming to school.  Just yesterday, I counted 26 sticks during morning play time.  This has become a serious safety issue not only at school but on the bus as well.  We are setting up guidelines for use of sticks at grade level recess only.  However, if problems continue I may need to request that no sticks be brought to school.  Please encourage your child if they are bringing a stick to school to remember safety guidelines, especially on the bus.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Kindergarten Round-Up Information
May 22
Information has been sent to all families who have registered for the Kindergarten Round-Up.  Families who do not have children in our school often miss Round-Up since they may not know to register.  Please check with neighbors who have Kindergarten age children to make certain that they have contacted us about Round-Up.  Thanks!!!!

Yearbooks….
Information is being sent home about the yearbook, which contains more than 50 pages of pictures about the events at the Kirby’s Mill School during this past year.  Requests will need to be in by May 30.  This is not a school fundraiser.  The cost is what we are charged by the company for production.
