Directions for transferring pictures from a disk to your H: drive:

1.    Insert disk

2.    Double click on the “My Computer” icon

3.    Double click on the “3 ½ Floppy A:” drive icon

     You will see one icon for each picture you have taken.

4.    Click Edit -> Select All

5.    Click Edit -> Cut

6.    Exit out of all of your windows

7.    Double Click “My Computer”

8.    Double Click on the H: Drive icon, (“your log-on name” drive)

Hint:  to organize pictures, I strongly suggest creating a new folder so you know what the pictures are.

9.    Click the right click button on the mouse and choose “new” then “folder”.  The folder will have a blue bar at the bottom, waiting for you to give it a name.  (Ex: Gingerbread houses)

10.                       Double click on the folder you just created

11.                       Click Edit -> Paste

The pictures are now available to you on your H: drive and you can return the used disk to the computer lab.
