| Introduction | ||
| A leading television news station, WKMS, has hired you and your partner to be medical correspondents. The station manager tells you in your first meeting, "This month's topic is the human body. Did you know that most people don't know how their own bodies work?" | ||

| The station manager continues, "As you know, we at WKMS fight ignorance at every level. Your first assignment is to research the human body systems and create an informational health segment for kids that explains your findings." | ||

| Process and Resources | ||
| First, listen to the body systems explanations on the How The Body Works Activity Page. Then check out the information on Discovery Kids. Choose body systems from the drop-down menu at the top of the page. You and your partner need to select 4 body systems to research; each of you will work on 2 body systems. Complete the Research Sheet for the two body systems you have selected. Then, use the PowerPoint template in the Kirby's Share drive to create a health segment for the TV station. You and your partner will need to take turns entering the information into PowerPoint on one computer. | ||
